  • RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize your expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze and interpret spatial data for various coastal engineering and environmental projects.

Develop and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.

Perform geospatial analysis and generate high-quality maps, charts, and reports to support project requirements.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate GIS data and analysis into project deliverables.

  • QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Strong proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and associated tools.

Solid understanding of spatial data concepts, including coordinate systems, projections, and spatial analysis techniques.

Experience in developing and managing geospatial databases.

Ability to create visually appealing and informative maps and reports.

Proficient in data collection using GPS and other field equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams and clients.

Experience with GIS programming languages (Python, VBScript, ESRI Model Builder, etc.) for tool creation/automation, geoprocessing, visualization, etc.

Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Online, publishing vector and raster data to and creation of web maps, dashboards, ESRI StoryMaps, etc.

Advanced vector data editing skills, geospatial analysis/problem solving, raster data analysis/creation/processing/management

Remote sensing analysis/interpretation experience, including image classification, georectification, etc.

3d Mapping experience

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, pro-active and have experience with environmental permitting and conducting benthic surveys and biological monitoring in South Florida. This individual will be involved in the environmental permitting and management of interesting waterfront projects in local and remote locations. We are a growing coastal and marine engineering firm with projects throughout Florida, Caribbean and Latin America, serving both private and public clients. Lauderdale or Miami, but Miami is our preferred location.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinating and executing environmental surveys including benthic and coastal vegetation surveys and biological monitoring to support environmental permitting review and permit compliance.

    Writing technical reports and working with GIS staff to prepare resource maps post survey

    Preparing and processing local, state and federal environmental permit applications for coastal and marine projects

    Preparing environmental permitting feasibility studies

    Provide mentorship to junior environmental staff within the company

    Project management and team communication

Cummins Cederberg is looking for a talented Marketing Coordinator or Senior Marketing Coordinator to support our excellent team. This individual will report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with our technical staff. This person will play an integral role in proposal preparation and general marketing. This role will primarily be focused on pursuit-related qualifications and proposals, and support general marketing duties as necessary.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Writes proposal drafts, reviews, and edits portions of the proposal content as appropriate.
  • Proofreads other proposals and marketing materials.
  • Facilitates kick-off meetings to define expectations, determine assignments and set production schedule to complete submittals successfully.
  • Manages, produces, and ensures the delivery of top quality, on time and effective proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, etc.
  • Provides input and collaboration to help establish priorities for responding to RFPs and other marketing-related inquiries. Works closely with the marketing manager and technical staff to produce proposals.
  • Help develop text for marketing material by interviewing project personnel and reviewing existing documentation.
  • Communicates and obtains information needed from subconsultant firms to be included in proposals and/or presentations.
  • Assists with the active upkeep and use of marketing databases including projects and resumes.
  • Assists with the production of marketing materials, such as firm brochures, advertisements, internal forms, and other related collaterals.
  • Familiarity with the engineering and construction industry and government Standard Form 330 is preferred.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-5 years of AEC proposal development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Photoshop
  • Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to details
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
  • A good sense of aesthetics and design for the use of graphics for AEC marketing documents
