Discover Wild Florida in Coral Gables at Matheson Hammock Park

Join ELULS at Matheson Hammock Park in Coral Gables on Friday, March 25 as part of our Discover Wild Florida with the ELULS event series.

The Environmental and Land Use Law Section of The Florida Bar will be holding events across the state during the month of March to celebrate and discover the natural and untamed environments we call home. Join ELULS at Matheson Hammock Park in Coral Gables on Friday, March 25 as part of the Discover Wild Florida with ELULS event series. The event will start at 3:00 pm with a tour of some of the park’s areas where sea level rise mitigation strategies for the capital improvement plan will be presented by Cummins Cederberg team members. Presentations will be followed by an onsite happy hour at the onsite Coral Rock Shelter beginning at 5:00 pm. The event will conclude at 6:00 pm.

WHEN: Friday, March 25th. Event begins at 3:00 PM.

WHERE TO MEET: Matheson Hammock Park, Coral Gables, Coral Rock Shelter

WHAT TO EXPECT: Tour the park and hear site project presentations by Cummins Cederberg on the flood mitigation strategies being adapted for the park’s capital improvement planning. Presentations will be followed by an onsite happy hour at one of the park pavilions beginning at 5:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served. The event will conclude at 6:00 pm.
