Cummins Cederberg has added marine environmental veteran Penny Cutt as Director in the Fort Lauderdale office. In her new role she will oversee many unique coastal and waterfront projects throughout Florida, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
Penny brings over 25 years of experience in environmental monitoring, assessment, planning, regulatory permitting and has a “long history in the marine community, is well known and respected,” said Jason Cummins, Principal of Cummins Cederberg.
A South Florida native, Penny is driven by a strong desire to protect marine resources. The first half of her career was in the public sector administering federal, state, and county environmental regulatory programs. This government insight and expertise has proved to be a vital asset in assisting clients, both public and private.
While coastal and marine engineering remain at the forefront of the company’s services, growth in environmental services, beginning with Gina Chiello in 2016, and recent key additions including Danielle Irwin, Anne Laird, Jessica Ward, and now Penny Cutt, provides unparalleled environmental expertise to support all our client project goals. “The personnel we have in place to lead our environmental services and complex waterfront projects is unmatched,” stated Jason Cummins, “there is nothing this team will not be able to accomplish.”
