Gina Chiello, Senior Project Manager at Cummins Cederberg, has been accepted into the 2020-21 Leadership Palm Beach County (LPBC) Engage program. The Leadership Engage program, LPBC’s flagship program, is a highly competitive 10-month program which unites many of our community’s leaders and offers participants a transformative learning experience and a powerful new network, with the intent to better Palm Beach County.
Participants, who come from diverse industries and backgrounds, will gain a deeper understanding of their own leadership styles and learn how they can make significant improvements in the community.
The Engage Class of 2021 will have the unique opportunity to see first-hand how Palm Beach County is being affected by and responding to the COVID-19 crisis, and will be joining the LPBC family at a time when LPBC’s community involvement is more appreciated than ever.
The 55 class members were selected for their leadership and service in their professional and civic lives. They will meet each month from September through May to explore program topics such as agriculture, education, public safety, and healthcare. They will also break up into smaller groups to do community engagement projects, benefiting local non-profits and aimed at tackling challenges facing the region. LPBC and its new class members are being creative and adapting to a world where “meeting” looks different than it has in years past, but they are excited for the new opportunities this adjusted program will bring.
