More about the Landings of Largo Marina Design project
Conducted an independent evaluation of the existing conditions of the dock structures at the marina and prepared a report outlining potential repairs and cost estimates. After evaluating the report, Cummins Cederberg was contracted to perform engineering and environmental consulting services for the proposed marina improvements at Landings of Largo.
The scope of work included the design and permitting of docks and utilities replacement serving the 61-slip marina, along with associated shoreline stabilization repairs and new accessibility areas. Cummins Cederberg designed the replacement of the fixed docks using the same footprint as the previous docks.
A property boundary and topographic survey, along with a geotechnical exploration report, were completed and served as the basis for subsequent design and regulatory permitting. Specifically, the location and elevation of the existing seawall and docks were identified, along with other general features of the site relevant to the project. In addition, water depths were collected in accessible areas directly adjacent to the docks and seawall.
